Felix Roasting Co. SoHo is a complete hospitality millwork project located at 145 Greene Street in New York City. Working within the established creative direction for the Felix brand, our team translated a highly detailed interior concept into a precisely fabricated and installed commercial environment.

Our scope encompassed the complete custom carpentry and architectural millwork package, including whitewashed-oak wall paneling, full-height column and portal cladding, decorative moldings, door and opening surrounds, integrated service and back-bar millwork, custom cabinetry, framed panels, and the detailed transitions required to connect the woodwork seamlessly throughout the café.

Each component was carefully produced to maintain consistent proportions, grain direction, reveals, alignments, and finish across the space. Rather than appearing as a collection of individual pieces, the millwork functions as one continuous architectural system, creating rhythm and visual order throughout the interior.

The custom whitewashed oak establishes a warm, refined framework for the café’s black-and-white checkerboard flooring, deep green banquettes, soft rose seating, curated artwork, and decorative lighting. Beyond its visual role, every element was developed to withstand the operational demands of a high-traffic hospitality environment while maintaining the precision and finish expected from custom architectural fabrication.

From production through final installation, the project required careful coordination between the creative vision, field conditions, architectural details, and functional requirements of the café. The completed environment demonstrates how expertly executed millwork can define an entire guest experience—supporting daily operations while giving the space its character, continuity, and sense of permanence.
