Located at Hotel Hugo in SoHo, Bar Hugo Rooftop underwent a complete interior transformation centered around custom architectural millwork. Our team was responsible for the full millwork scope, translating the venue’s Venetian-inspired design direction into precisely fabricated wood elements built specifically for this hospitality environment.

The work included the curved main service bar, custom back-bar millwork, integrated cabinetry, warm wood wall paneling, architectural trim, decorative detailing, and coordinated wood components throughout the space. Each element was developed to function as part of a unified interior rather than as an isolated feature, creating visual continuity across the bar, service areas, walls, and surrounding guest environment.

The rounded bar became the architectural anchor of the room. Its curved geometry required accurate field measurements, controlled fabrication, carefully resolved joints, and precise installation to maintain a continuous profile. Behind and around it, the custom cabinetry and paneling were designed to support the operational needs of a working rooftop venue while preserving the clean architectural language of the interior.

Material selection, grain direction, stain consistency, edge detailing, and transitions between adjoining surfaces were carefully coordinated throughout production. Every component was fabricated and finished to withstand the demands of a commercial hospitality setting without compromising the refined appearance of the space.

From field coordination and shop fabrication through finishing and final installation, the Bar Hugo project demonstrates our ability to execute a complete millwork environment with technical precision, skilled craftsmanship, and close attention to architectural detail. The finished woodwork brings warmth and structure to the rooftop venue while supporting the distinctive identity of Bar Hugo and its panoramic SoHo setting.
